She loves motivating students to challenge adversity and to achieve greatness through hard work and kindness.
While not at school, Rexi is involved in several organizations. She is the secretary of the Oklahoma City Metro Area Kappa Delta Alumni Chapter. Pack Young Professionals Board. Rexi loves to read, and she is a member of a book club that meets monthly.
In her free time, Rexi enjoys spending time with her husband, Mark Phillips, a Curriculum Coach at Central Middle School, her family, and friends. She loves taking her two dogs, Espn Leon and Hayden Diane, to the dog park as well. She also loves running and frequently competes in various charity races across the state. She completed the 2015 Memorial Marathon in Oklahoma City and plans to run the marathon again in 2016. She is currently working towards becoming a half fanatic. To qualify, she will run four half marathons in four states in under two months.
