Hi! I’m Cat Anderson, and I teach English III & IV at Boulevard Academy. Prior to coming to Boulevard, I taught high school English as a reading specialist for 5 years. I love being a teacher. My passion is to help students discover that learning can be fun, so in my class, my goal is to make every lesson a new adventure. I have a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Central Oklahoma, and my master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from North Western Oklahoma State University.

I always say my classroom is my home, and I do my best to make it a welcoming home for my students too. Any student, no matter their past or present, will be loved and accepted for who they are in my class. I am a plant-mom and a cat-mom, and love to read whenever I get the chance. I’m a Disney kid at heart, so my two cats are named Merlin and Archimedes from the Disney movie, Sword in the Stone. My husband and I love to travel, play tabletop games like D&D, and nerd out about anything Marvel-related. I always look forward to meeting new people–especially new students!
