I was born in Ada, Ok to a family of educators. Most of my aunts, uncles, and cousins, were in education and my dad was a classroom teacher, 5 time state champion golf coach, and principal for 40 years.   Teaching seemed  to be a very logical and normal progression for my life, even though I didn’t start teaching until I was 36 years old. I have been married to my wife for 34 years and I am the proud father of 3 children. My family has lived in Edmond for 30+ years, and my youngest two children have been raised in Edmond.   I was a classroom teacher for 7 years, then an administrator for the remainder of my time. Along the way, I  developed a passion for working with kids who struggled with school.  I cannot describe how much I like serving the students and families of Boulevard Academy.  The students and staff have been very good to me and feels good to get up every day and go to a place where I’m surrounded by people that seem to see the “educational world” as I see it, have a real energy for it, and are good at it. I couldn’t be happier. I’m having fun teaching and working with your kids!
